The term “Multiple Device”

The term “Multiple Devices” was created in the frame of the application to the TIBL-Project 2017-1-ES01-KA202-038256 in the year 2017 by Peter Mazohl (EFQBL) and Carlos Guerrero (SAFA). The term summarizes various devices for learning and mobile learning.

  • Notebook
  • Netbook
  • Tablet
  • Smartphone

These devices differ in the display size, an available physical keyboart, in the used operating system, or an available touch screen.

The TIBL-Project investigates the use of these devices in blended Learning. The frame conditions are a specific pedagogical framework, a quality enhancement framework for course creation, and digital competences.


About the Author

Peter Mazohl is member of the Institute of Analyses and Scientific Computing at the University of Technology in Vienna, Austria. He was involved in the AKMAT project of the institute. This project is one of the biggest Blended Learning projects at universities in Europe.
Peter Mazohl is the head of the “European Foundation for Qualify in Blended Learning” which is the Austrian Partner of the TIBL Project.
